street games well hello.
from Monday to Friday I've been doing sports at a Chorley get up and go thingy.

over the week I've done: athletics, orienteering,ultimate Frisbee, rugby,dodge ball,handball,tri golf, and cricket.

then on Friday (this is the crazy part) from 8:o0-6:00(that was the crazy part).
i was on the orienteering team for Chorley, against Manchester,Burnley,sulfurde,Blackburn ,Liverpool.e.t.c.

AND GUESS WHAT CHORLEY WON ORIENTEERING so i won a medal yippee!!

unfortunately the pics not on the PC yet so if you want to see them you can comment and I'll e-mail them.

any way I've had a long week that was still fun.

a great day at normanby hall

on Tuesday the 22nd of April 08 :

We went to Normanby Hall as a family. We played in the park a bit with the other home educated kids for a while, then we went to the duck pond & had lunch. We went back to the park (and the loo) then we went into Normanby Hall. There we could see what their house was like a long time ago. They had lots of different kinds of chandeliers. We went and climbed lots of trees and when we had tea, we had it in the car and guess what we had? Sausage and chips! When we got home we watched "Calamity Jane". It was a cool film. I had a great day out.

EUREKA

Last Tuesday the 25 of march we went to Eureka Eureka is a museum for kids so it was really fun.
we also dressed up as explores because you get in free if your dressed as an explorer or dinosaur.
there was a long queue to get in and get tickets but they had lots of stuff outside.
we went to one of my favourite places about the human body another of my favourite was a bank in a big room there were two lasers to pass i laid down and rolled under them. there was also a car station where you could put petroll in a car and a telephone box to practise calling 999.they also had a dinosaur dig it was a sandpit with buried dinosaur skeletons it was a very fun and really good day out .

hello I have not done my blog for a long time so sorry about that any way I went to my friend rachel's house yesterday we had fun on her trampoline and today some of the pictures of the calander uncle steve gave to mummy I took of and cut the pictures out I hope you are all well I like reading everyones blog Martha has a runny nose and a cough but were all ok apart from that IT was fun having josh & Isac round I cant wait till my baptism its very close hope your all well see you soon Emily .

My Excellent Bournemouth Holiday!

Hello!
when i went on my holiday in Bournemouth i had a fun time. I went to Avon country Park with Amber and Leah my cousins. I went to the beach with my family and Sally and Kelly. Just our family went to the New Forest. There were ponies in the New Forest and a Fjord across the river. When Naomi and Liesl went to the toilet we saw them running off somewhere so we followed, and quite surprisingly there was a big sand hill in the middle of the forest. So we played there until we got too hot and then we went to paddle in the river, adn we all got a bit wet so we took our clothes off at the car and put on our raincoats
and got an ice-cream with a flake in. I forgot to say when we went to Avon Country park, that afterwards we went to a BBQ at my cousins house. We also went swimming twice and i got to go on the water slide which was fun. i got to swim the whole length of the pool on my front and on my back without stopping. The water slide at the bottom was deeper than me which was cool because i can swim properly a little bit now. Goodbye.

Butlins

last Thursday we went to Butlins in Skegness !!!!!!! There's a merry go round we went on and a
thing that went around and went up high !!!!!!! we went on those cars called dodgems and just me and mum went on a ride that went completely upside down with just a bar in front to hold you on i was slipping out of the harness and nearly let go of the bar it was scary!!!!. simulator. we got a massive Ice cream I had vanilla and Toffee & honeycomb with smarties on top there was really good acrobats here is some viveos of them.

We also went to a swimming pool. There was a big cave that you could swim through. There was 2 slides and there was a little pool with climbing frames and slides in that Naomi and Liesl wanted to play in. There was a beach pool with crocodiles and turtles that you can sit on, and a pool that was like a whirlpool. There was also a big pool that had a fountain in it - I liked this pool the best. It was a really fun day!!

Today I had a good day at church. In my class today we made letters for the missionaries in our ward I came home and wrote my blog. this week I have been Learning about penguins
especially emperor penguins. I wrote an acrostic poem here it is

Penguins slide on their tummy's
Emperor penguins have a yellow patch on their ears
Nests for penguins can be made of rocks
Gliding into the water penguins fish for food
Under their fur dads keep the baby chicks warm
In penguins mouths on their tongues they have bristles to stop fish from slipping out
Now baby chicks are ready to go into the water
